Well, I'm finding this post over 12 years after it was posted, but I'll respond in case others are searching, or you still haven't found the information.

Daniel McLaurin was my gggg/grandfather and of course, Nancy was my gggg/grandmother. She was also a McLaurin on her mother's side. She and Daniel married in Marlboro District, SC in 1799. She died in Wayne County, MS in 1820 (I'm fairly sure in childbirth giving birth to Daniel, III who did not survive either). She never made it to Simpson County. It is possible that there was a epidemic of some sort because it looks like her parents died at about the same time there. None of us have found her grave site in Wayne county, but I've been to the McLaurin family cemetery where Daniel is buried and she isn't there for sure. She does appear on the 1820 census in Wayne county, MS.
