Our Calico line is through Violet Louise (Calico) Tucker daughter of James Calico and Elizabeth Vaughan. Her husband was George Tucker, after their deaths in 1841 in Madison Co., AR, their children lived with Uncle John Calvin Calico and his wife Elizabeth Means.

George and Violet's son Thomas Jefferson Tucker 1838-1909 married Mary Elizabeth Ledbetter daughter of Noah Hampton Ledbetter and Lucy Ann Gordon. Buried Middleton Chapel Cem., Muskogee Co., OK

Daughter Sarah Ellen Tucker 1866-1954 married William Albert McCawley. Also buried Middleton Chapel Cem.
