Can anyone tell me what the following court case was about? This record is onfile in Henry County Alabama however it is regarding a case in LEXINGTON County SC...

Aug 6 1838:
Rec'd August 6, 1838 of Mrs. Catherine Jenkins administrator of the estate of Alexander Jenkins dec'd thirty six dollars and 8 cents the balance in full of my fee for prosecuting the case of DANIEL KELLY vs JAMES CALK and others _?_ also of other incendental charges connected with the said case. L. BOOZER. registered 18 Oct 1838 Wm R Kelly Clerk...

Daniel Kelly & James Calk lived in Lexington. Catherine & Alexander lived in Lexington before moving to ALA. therefore this case took place in Lexington County. WHAT WAS IT ABOUT? any help appreciated.
