Aaron Calkins
My 5th great-grand-father is Aaron Calkins. Most if not all of my information has came from Ken Calkins, author of “Calkins Family In America” This was a monumental task on his part and all of us Calkins’s especially my self owe him a deep sense of gratitude.
I first discovered an anomaly when running a “timeline” on Aaron Calkins b. 19 Jan 1725/1726. Reference: Page 30 #81. “Calkins Family In America”
1. He was born, married and died within a 20 mile radius.
2. His first four children, Joshua, Elizabeth, Caleb and Eleazar born between 128 and 344 miles away.
3. Next four children, Aaron, Joanne, Tabitha and Hannah born within the same 20 mile radius as Aaron.
4. Makes one speculate that the first four children were erroneously attached to Aaron.
I am hoping to find anyone who has this line in their respective genealogies and may shed some light on this anomaly.
