I am not researching Callaghan but I found this US passport info and decided to post it, perhaps it will help someone else.
US passport # 1935 [London] issued 8 Feb 1905

I, Terence Y Callaghan, a naturalized and loyal citizen of the United States, hereby apply to the Embassy of the US at London for a passport for myself.
I solemnly swear that I was born at Cavan, Ireland on or about the 8 day of October 1857; that I emigrated to the US from Canada, on or about the month of June 1882; that I resided 22 years, uninterruptedly, in the US, from 1882 to 1904 at Bandon, Oregon; that I was naturalized as a citizen of the US before the Circuit Court of Oregon at Coos County, on the 7 day of October, 1895, as shown on the accompanying Certificate of Naturalization; that I am the identical person referred to in said certificate; that I am domiciled in the US, my permanent residence therein being at Coquille in the State of Oregon where I follow the occupation of real estate; that I last left the US on the 10 day of August, 1904 on board the Baltic, arriving in Liverpool the 19 day of August, 1904; that I have resided in Great Britain & Ireland since that day; that I am now temporarily residing at the Red House, Commercial Rd, 2; that I intend to return to the US within a year with a purpose of residing and performing the duties of citizenship therein.
