I am interested in finding any information regarding Allan Mcdonald Callander born in France around 1902. He was married to my great grandmother named Nina Elizabeth Shemo in Matawan NJ in July of 1929. They had two children Gretrude and my Grandfather Harry Douglas. According to oral history, he was of jamaican or west indian heritage. He had family in the new york area. Possibly with the spelling Callender,Callandar,etc. I am trying to trace any leads to this man and cannot find any relatives whatsoever. I would appreciate any responses. I only want to know my relatives if any are left. He may have had the nickname eddie. possible merchant marine.
