My distant cousin, Len Callander died in
Canada last year after we had briefly found
each other. We carried on a correspondence
that our mutual Great-Grandfathers had
interrrupted so very long ago. We discovered
that we continue a tradition of Cathoicism.
our family connection was through my
Grandmother Rachel Callander-CLARK(b.1813
Scotland-d.1867 Canada).

At any rate, Len(May GOD Bless his soul)
sent me a tree of our families.
It ranges from James CALLANDER(b.1572+/-)
to his 2nd son of 6 children, John(b.1602)
to his 4th son of 9 children, Thomas(b. 1645)
to his 4th son of 11 Children, Alexander(b.1681)
to his 1st son of 12 children, John(b.1718)
to his 3rd son of 9 children, Alexander(b.1754)
to his 1st son of 10 children, John(b. 1779)
to his daughter, Rachel(b. 1813).
Hope that this helps your search.
