...from "The Oil City Derrick" newspaper Tues. morning, the 1s? day of Feb. 1916...
Died J. E. Callens, a surveyor of the Civil War throughout which he served as a private in Company D 61st P.V. was found dead in his bed in Ford City on Sat. morning. The deceased who was 76 years old...heart disease... He leaves 2 sons & a dau.; J.E. & D.D. Callen of Ford City; & Mrs. Lucinda Dunkins of Custer City, McKean Co. (Pa.). The funeral will be at Ford City at 2 o'clock today." not my family
