Dear MacWhee: I don't know if you wrote this 2nd message to me (Margaret Napier) or to one of the others in the thread of Thomas Callinan messages; however, I will respond anyway. For example, you mention that your mom is Carolyn and she had an older brother. My dad was William FitzSimons born 1907 Chicago. He did not have a sister Carolyn. His sisters were Mary Adele FitzSimons, Maire Pinn (nee FitzSimons) and Vera FitzSimons. Only my Dad and his sister Vera had children. There wasn't a Carolyn in my dad's Irish family. My Dad married my mom, Myrtle, also from Chicago. She was a Swede and she had a sister Carolyn (another Swede) who married Howard Alonzo Mateer who was in the Army and passed away during the Korean Conflict. So I had an Aunt Caroline from Chicago but she wasn't Irish.
