I am seeking biographical information on Major Thomas U. Camak, Cobb's Legion Infantry. Major Camak was killed in battle at Gettysburg, Pa., July 2, 1863.

His wife was Laura Ragland, daughter of Columbus, Ga. newspaperman Thomas Ragland. Major Camak may have resided in Athens, Ga. at some point.

Major Camak will be featured in my upcoming book - "Georgia At Gettysburg". A photograph, biographical information, etc. is needed.

I am not a Camak relative or descendant, nor do I have any genealogical information to offer.

Any assistance, suggestions, ideas, etc. would be tremendously appreciated.
