I sent off for Charles Camero's birth certificate certain that there would not be one on file.....luckily I was wrong.
The state of Florida sent me a copy of his delayed birth certificate that was issued in 1958 (I'm guessing he applied for his birth certificate so he could file for social security).

Here are the details from the certificate;

- confirmed he was born in Key West on 4 Nov 1894
- Father's name was Jose Camero
- Mather's name was Ana Luisa Arenas
- Both parents were born in Key West
- Parent's ages were not on the certificate

Additional note: As I stated in my earlier message;
Charles Camero's mother (Ana Camero, born Arenas) was widowed or divorced from Charles Camero before 1900.
She then married Manuel Ayala by 1900.

Which leads me to this...
I recently found Ana in the 1930 census living with her daughter and son-in-law in Manhattan, New York City, NY.
Several of Ana's childen were also living in the apartment.

I'm glad I was able to take the Camero line a little further down the line. Anyone else have anything new?
