I have a brick wall on James C. Cameron b. May 7, 1823 SC d. Dec. 12, 1901 Blackstock, Chester Co., SC. I believe he is related to the Robert Gregg-Savilla Feaster clan, but no proof -- based on family naming patterns, burials together, etc.
He m 1st Esther ----; they had Catherine b 1843 m John D. Montgomery; Margaret J. b. 1845 m Hugh McCarley/McCorley; John C. b. 1846 d abt 1901 m Margaret ----; Wm. B. (CSA) b. 1848 d. 1935 m Sarah Jane Montgomery; Curtis Gran b 1854 d 1916 m Mary L. Wages; Martha V. b 1857 m Fate Montgomery; Sarah b 1858 m C. Montgomery; James Walker b 1859 m. Mary; Frances b. 1862 m. C. Brooks; Thomas b. 1864 d. 1906 m. Sallie. James C. m 2nd Harriet "Happy" and they had 8 kids. I have hundreds of pages of wills, deeds, etc on Cameron families am willing to share.
