My gg-grandfather Donald Mcdonell (Mcdonald) b. abt 1799 in Ont. married Sarah Cameron, daughter of Alexander Cameron and Sarah Parks in 1823. This was the first wedding in the township of East Nissouri, Oxford, Ont at the home of William O'Brien the grooms step-father.

My g-grandfather, Allan Mcdonald b. 1836 in East Nissouri married Annie Cameron, daughter of Robert Cameron and Nancy Ross

Robert Cameron and Sarah Cameron were siblings so there is a definite tie to the Cameron family

I know virtually nothing about Donald Mcdonell. Have hopes that someone tracing the Cameron's has come across something about him.
