After 10 years I have finally gotten back to reexamine the Camerons and MacDonald connections in Nova Scotia who originated in Lochaber in Scotland and arrived Nova Scotia in or around 1831, certainly by 1833 according to a letter by John Cameron in Lochaber to his half brother Duncan Cameron in Australia.
All of this is now entered into Ancestry.com

Heres what I have so far:
Donald Mor Cameron (1715, a Standard Bearer for the Locheil at the battle of Prestonpans and at Culloden - 1770) said to have been the son of John Ban McMartin Retalch Cameron
. Donald Mor Og Cameron (1734 Annat, Innis Righ (Inchree) - 1800) married Catherin Thomson
.. Christina (Ciorsdan) Cameron (Abt 1770-) second wife of Donald (Saor) Cameron (1740-1830) who have many descendants in Australia
... Catherine (Kettrin) Cameron married Angus MacDonald (Kettrin in John's letter Ketty for short born either in 1802 or 1811, I think likely the former) She was the youngest child of her family and emigrated to Nova Scotia with her mother and husband in 1831.
.... Alexander MacDonald Issue 10 (the other children of Alexander are listed by Sweet in Ancestry.com) including
..... Donald Cameron MacDonald (1872 SE Mabou-) married Mary J Mackay dau of John MacKay, postmaster Port Hood, Nova Scotia)
Some dates are very messy in the Ancestry trees but this much looks pretty solid so far.
