Charles Camfield, or Charles Camfeld, had a jewelry store in Newkirk, Oklahoma. He had two daughters,Norma Von de Veld, or Norma VonDeVeld, and Floy, and a son, Don by his first wife. Then he had another daughter, Juanita by his second wife, Ethel. Norma is my mother's aunt on her maternal side. Norma was married to Leland Dean Von de Veld of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Norma and Dean had two daughters, Grace and Beth Irene. Norma and Beth are buried in the Newkirk cemetery by Charles Camfeld, Norma's father.
Norma's husband was a core drill contractor in Ponca City, Bartlesville and finally, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dean is buried in the IOOF cemetery at Ponca City, Oklahoma by his mother, Florence VondeVeldBowler. A grandson, Rick, who was adopted by Norma and Dean, still lives in Tulsa.
