Hi Im April...also south of boston, My grandmother was Rose Ternullo, her sisters were Jay, and Annie, brothers Jimmy..and Joey.and i think thats it....I know our family is also from Augusta Italy, my grandmother has passed but im always eager to learn about my ancestors. My grandmothers mothers name was Carmilla Ternullo, married to Andre Ternullo my great grandfather. Any one relate???

My Great Grandmother was Domenica Tringali who was married to a Filippo Ternullo, they had 10 children. Do you know the names of any of Rose's siblings?

Hi- I've just begun to trace my father-in-laws family. His Grandmother was Rosa Ternullo (married Annibale Belligerante)- she was born in 1895. Her mother was Domenica Tringale from Augusta, Sicily. Is this the same family??? Any help would be great- Thanks!

I am looking for a Camillo, possibly with the name of John, whose mother was named Adeline or Adelide. He would be in his 60's now. His father was my uncle John who was killed in Italy during WW11. I found many wonderful pictures that I would love to share with him since I know he never met my uncle (born after his death). IN fact, it's possible that his mother remarried and perhaps never told him about his biological father, so I am not even sure if he knows he's a Camillo! I would love to meet him and tell him about this side of his family!!

My grandmother was born Maria Ternullo in 1879 in Melilli Sicily. I have traced the her family back to my great-great grandfather, Vincenzo Ternullo, born in Augusta circa 1830.
Maria's siblings were: ?Anna, Carmello, Settino, Luigi, Guiseppe, Salvatore, and Sebastiana.
Don't know any of Vincenzo,s siblings ; but family stories say Vincenzo's family were fishermen. I've only been researching in a more or less straight line back.Any Ternullo I've come across so far is connected. It ouldn't surprise me if me are related somehow .
Hope we can connect someday. I would be interested if you find a connection.

Genoni Camillo

I have ran across a passport for one Genoni Camillo. It was issued in the Ticino-Tessin canton of Switzerland in approximately 1920. Entries appear to be in old German form of script - I can't read them.

Mr. Camillo was (it appears) born 22 January 1891. The passport has stamps for Switzerland, France and visa stamps for USA. Mr. Camillo apparently departed Cherbourg for the US 23 Jan 1921. It appears his destination was California.

If anyone has interest, I will scan and email them a copy of the passport.

I have no ideas as to Genoni Camillo was or is.

Theodore A. Camillo, 83, of San Diego died Dec. 1. He was born in Utica, N.Y., and was a painter for the city of San Diego. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Bowling Association. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Camillo; daughters, Clara Gomez and Carol Camillo of San Diego; and sister, Clara Hyatt of Utica. Mass: 11 a.m. tomorrow, St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4124 Mount Abraham Ave., San Diego. Interment: 10 a.m. Dec. 18, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma. No, my dad is Sebastian, and his brother is Philip. They were the only children of my grandparents, Maria & Gaetano Ternullo. My uncle, Philip, has 3 daughters and he was a barber in Boston between 1950-1990 or so in the West End, near the North end of Boston. They also have a step-sister, Gracie, who was married to an Albert Foniri. My grandparents and my uncle Al are all deceased.
Does this make any connection?

My father is Joseph Vella he had an Uncle with children Philip and Sebastian. Phillip was a Barber in Boston. Did your father have a brother Albert?

My grandmother was a Carmella Ternullo born in Augusta, Italy on Feb. 18, 1894. Her parents were Filippo Ternullo and Domenica Tringali. They had several children Anna, Antonette, Maria, Rose, Seraphina, John Gaetano, Dominic and Salvatore.

I am looking for my Ternullo's also. My grandmother was Carmella Ternullo born in Augusta Italy on Feb. 18, 1894. Her parents were Filippo Ternullo and Domenica Tringali. She had several siblings - Rose who died very young John, Guy, Salvatore Dominic Saraphina Antonia, and Anna. I know Guy and John owned a boat together that was named Sebastian and Family.

Please see my message of May 31. I'm really very curious, because it's strange to see so many names but in different orders. My maiden name is Maria Ternullo, plus I found another Maria Ternullo (Stone) on the Internet and my cousin is also named Maria Ternullo, although both she and I are also married and therefore have different last names now. My cousin and I have fathers that are brothers (Sebastiano and Philip Ternullo). I was born in 1946 in Augusta Sicily and my cousin is younger, however we were named after my dad's mother, who died when he was very young in Italy. I came over to America in 1952 with my mother and sister and my father came over about one year before us. I'm thinking somehow we are all related and they just keep naming babies after their parents (which is the custom in Italy). Would like to hear if you have any further information.

My family (including myself) is from Augusta, Syracusa, Italy and we came to this country in the early 1950's. My grandfather was Gaetano Ternullo and my father is Sebastiano Ternullo. My Uncle is Philip Ternullo (and he was a barber). I don't know where this fits in with everyone else's family, but I know we have relatives in Monterey and San Francisco, although I'm not sure of their names. My parents live in a suburb of Boston, Ma. My uncle has 3 daughters and my parents had 3 daughters. My maiden name was Maria Ternullo, although I am now living in Louisiana. If anyone has anything to add or to ask that will help, please let me know.

I believe my father is related to the Ternullo's (Phillip and Maria). His name is Gaetano, son of Giovani and Rosa Ternullo of Boston. Was Philip a barber?

My father's brother was Philip Ternullo wife Maria they lived in Boston, Ma with their twelve children. My dad Salvatore was one of 4 children, Uncle John, Uncle Philip, Uncle Frank & Aunt Maria, all were born in Augusta, Sicily. My dad was born in Jan 4th 1899, his birthday is today. I still have many relatives in Ma, my parents came to California in the middle 30's, my mother is also from Sicily the family name is De Luca, which there are still family in Augusta, hoping to hear from you, if we are related.

But my aunt thought the familly ( Maria,s father Sebastiano Ternullo ) originally came from Agusta,Sicily, and that Sebastiano was born in Agusta. The will of William Zimmerman was witnessed at Fort Rucker, Alabama in 1966, by Adelfa G. Camillo, Catherine P. Bradley and Lonnie J. Levitan. Anyone know where these witnesses are?
