My maternal grandfather's name was Luigi (Louis G.) Camisa. He was born in Italy 9/28/1881 and came to New York City in 1898. According to the ship's manifest, his home town was listed as "Carrogno", but we've been told that there is no such place, so we think it may be Torsogno. His father's name was Stefano Camisa, his mother was Cellaria Granchi, and they remained in Italy. If anyone might be able to add to our knowledge, we'd be thrilled!
