INDIANOLA, Iowa - Jane Camp, 77, died Feb. 24, 2008, at the Knoxville Hospital.
Ms. Camp was born in Clarke County Iowa.
She graduated in 1948 from the Patterson High School and then from Simpson College. She started teaching in rural Madison County in 1949 and retired in 1989 from the Muscatine Public Schools.
Following retirement, she moved to Indianola.
She enjoyed spending time with her brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. She loved reading and poetry and was an excellent cook.
She is survived by her brothers, Marion Camp and wife, Becky of Olympia, Wash., Robert Camp of St. Charles and Glenn Camp and wife, Diana of Antioch, Ill.; sisters, Helen Armstrong and Evelyn Camp both of Indianola.
