Were there two Williams both married to Rachel Sprowls??
Rachel Sprowls was born in Pa. about 1827 to Arthur Sprowls and Catherine Wallace. Arthur immigrated with parents John Sprowls and Elizabeth Love and his siblings about 1793.
After reading your posting I started searching census records.
In Pike County Illinois 1850, I find William Camp born Pa., age 25, and Rachel born Pa. age 23; with child Americus age 9/12 born in Illinois.
This would make William born about 1825 and Rachel born about 1827.
I would like to compare records of this family as it sounds like their is some inaccuracy. What are your sources?
