William Camp born 1808 VA; died 2 July 1862 Coles County, IL. Married Rachel (maybe Sprawles?) who was born 1807 Ireland; died 31 July 1863 in Coles County, IL. Children were: (1)Robert A. Camp (family tradition says he was killed while serving in Union Army during Civil War; (2) Arthur Camp; (3) Albert J. Camp, born 1835 Guernsey County, OH; married Eliza Jane Bowles, 1860 Coles County, IL. They moved to MO in 1964 and he died 7 July 1907in Jasper County, Missouri (4) John M. Camp, born 26 Dec 1837 Guernsey County, OH. Never married. Died 21 Nov 1914 Jasper County, MO. (5) Catherine Camp, born OH. (6) Ann Camp, born 1843 Ohio. (7) William Camp, born 1845 Ohio; married Mary Winkleback 1870 Coles County, IL (8) George T. Camp, born 1848 OH, married Angelina Havel(?) 1870 Coles County, IL. (This family went to KS.) William Camp was very possibly the son of Robert Camp who was shown on the 1820 Belmont County, OH federal census.
