Please forgive me if I've overlooked this somewhere, but I am searching for my GGGreat Grandmother's parentage. I believe her name was Elizabeth M. Campbell. I found the marrage record, date of 31 December 1842 in Nelson CO, Virginia to James Wright. The lived in what became WV, Fayette CO, mostly. Their children were Elphason, Samuel, John, George, Iverson, Nancy, PArlona, and Charles. After James' death, she remarried a Richard Davis, no children that I have found.
Listed on her marriage licence was a Samuel Campbell. That would fall in with the naming the second son after the mothers father. But I cannot find any listings for her birth.
Does anyone know her? I"d be happy to share any information I have, though my Campbells and Wrights are still in a tangle.
