Our Louis (or Ludwig) TSCHANTRÉ (b 1827) md Cécelia BÖLL (b 1824). His father was apparently Carl RAUBER per some record I'd have to ask my mom abt. Carl RAUBER did not marry Louis's mother, one Elisabeth (or Lisette) TSCHANTRÉ (b 14 Jul 1801 in Shüpfen, Switzerland), so in our case, a matrilineal line become the name passed down the generations.

Her parents were Abraham TSCHANTRÉ & Barbara STEHLIN. Again, I'd have to double check w/ my mom on where she got these names. However, I did just see another one of your posts & saw YOU have an Abraham TSCHANTRÉ, so I think we need to talk more!
