I am looking for information on the parents of Jorge (George) Cancienne (Concienne) and Margarita Catharine Yeane. They supposedly were from Venice, Italy. Their son, Pierre Cancienne, married Jeanne-Marguerite Landry on February 15, 1786, in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. Does anyone have information on these families?
