My Great-Great-grandmother was Miguelina Candida and she married Francisco Fagundes. One of their daugthers were Lucinda Candida Fagundes and she married Francisco Machado Vieira. They had many children however, only 7 lived to adulthood. Francisco Machado Governo Vieira(my grandfather), John, Antone, Mary, Lourdes, Lucy, Pauline. My G-grandfather Francisco was in a wheelchair and made shoes. My Grandfather was in his 20's and he wanted to go to the USA and his mother Lucinda said if he goes the whole family goes so My G-grandmother and her 7 children left Terceira Azores and ported in Rhode Island in 1920. In 1921 my grandfather Francisco, married Francisca Coelho Avelar from Lajes Terceira Azores in Bristol Rhode Island. Any information would be appreciated. My E-mail is: mparadis@toto.csustan.edu
