Hi, I'm Patricia Caneer Gardner. My Caneer family was in Marshall County, TN from now back to 1837. John Kinneir left a will about 1818 in Mecklenburg Co. NC. He named several sons, and two daughters, sons: Joseph, John (mine), James and I can't think of the others but have them on file. The daughters were Jennett and Margaret, I know nothing on the girls and can give information on john's family up to present time. Hope this helps, Pat

Hi Jason, only second reply. There are more of us out there just no replies. several years ago Igot a phone call from someone researching caneers back to civil war but have lost contact with them. What part of In are you from? Ihave been able to track my Mom's and Dads family all the way back but no luck on my Hubby's side.
