Hi, I am trying to find any information about my Great-Grandmother, Letitia Caney. All I know is that she was born in Ireland in 1883, and moved to England where she maried David Webb in Pontefract in 1909. She died sometime in the 1920s. My Grandfather, who died last year, remembers some sort of connection to a family named Moran but he did not know any details.

Helen Steffy was born May 1858, Knox Co IN, the daughter of James H. Steffy and his second wife, variously named as Louisa Pewett/Puett and Mariah L. Tuitt. Helen married Michael Caney 8 Oct 1879 in Knox Co. She can be tracked through all the censuses through 1900, after which I cannot locate her using the new indices. When did she die and where is she buried?

I have a picture of Elizabeth Agnes Caney dated Oct 1896. She looks to be about 12-13 years old. It was taken in Batavia, NY. I believe that she was a friend of my husband's grandfather. If anyone is related to her, please let me know. I would love to find her family.

I'm sorry I never responded. I never got a message so I just assumed there wasn't a reply. Was she from Batavia, NY? Could this be her? The picture is wonderful and I could scan it and send it to you if you would like.

Any other info? Is Elizabeth possibly an aunt, since I am assuming she married and would not have the last name Caney.

other than she married my g-gpa
John Walker,and passed away in July of 1969.
