I came across your post on ancestry.com dated December 2000. The names you mentioned are very familiar to research I have started to do on behalf of my father. The information he gave me is that his family name is Cannady, although he was adopted grew up with last name Jones. My fathers biological mothers name is Francis (maiden Bryant) and her husband was Herbert Cannady. My paternal grandmother Francis, raised her family in the Baltimore area, which I visited a couple times as a child. I am curious if you had any luck in finding any further information regarding the Cannady family.
