My grandfather was Captin C Cannon he married Nannie who I believe was orginally from Henderson NC. Their union produced ten children one of which was my father Clarence Cannon and his sister Cutie Cannon raised me. Aunt Mary and Martha who I remember faintly left VA according to Cutie Cannon their off springs live in Mt Holly New Jersey. My Aunt Cutie told me they were mixed with Irish, she died in 2006 and my dad years earlier.I lived in Bracey as a baby until I was about six, I lived with My grand ma Nannie Cannon who loved me dearly this according to my Uncle John, who is now deceasaed. My uncle Popeye Cannon still lives down there I have not seen him since 06. There is a Cannon family reunion held every year, Mary and Martha's family puts it together.
