I am trying to find out information about my husband's maternal grandfather, Joseph Kincade Cano. I recently got his Social Security application and he listed his father as Louis Cano. They lived on a farm in the Bronx. Joseph had 4 or 5 brothers and a sister. One brother was a movie extra. We know absolutely nothing about the Cano family and where it originated. If anyone knows of Canos who lived in the New York City area in the early to mid 1800s I would appreciate the information. Joseph K. was born May 5, 1893. His mother was Victoria Kincade.
