Trying to find my "Cannon/Canon" ancestors that are related to the infamous outlaw Jesse James. This Cannon family adopted a half Cherokee girl and named her Kathryn "Kate" Cannon. When she grew up she married William "Raymond" James. Does anybody know anything about the genealogy information on this Kate Cannon? I believe she was born about 1894 in possibly Missouri and adopted from an Oklahoma Reservation? Please contact me at:
