William Freudenstein married Wilhelmina Augusta Butler, daughter of George Washington Butler and Mary Rice, in New Orleans 9 Nov 1876. She died in 1885. William then married her sister, Agnes Josephine, 1 Jan 1891. My 4th great-grandfather was Joseph Butler, Germany, who owned property on St. Andrew in 1825. George W. Butler was one of his 2 sons. My ancester was a daughter, Fredericka, who married Peter Kern. The Butlers are buried in Lafayette Cemetery #1 in New Orleans.

In your family history, do you have any information about the Freudensteins or Butlers? I seem to be at a dead-end. A Freudenstein married a Cantelli and I thought there might be a relationship between the families.
