My Brown line married into the Cantrell line of Elizabeth Cantrell[1809-1870]. Elizabeth married Daniel Brown, who died around 1833[Blackhawk War?]. The parents of Elizabeth CANTRELL Brown were Richard Cantrell[1771-1841]& Constance Polly Bethel[1776-1848]. The second marriage of Constance was to a Robert Harrison Flannigan.

I am a direct descendant of Robert[Fisher]Brown Sr.[b. 1759, Culpeper Co., VA.]. There are rejected[Blackburn & Meeks]Guion Miller applications claiming Robert[Fisher]Brown Sr. was their source of Cherokee blood, & that Robert was half Cherokee. The mother of Robert Brown was a Pollard.
