I was born in Mexico City, Mexico. My parents immigrated to the U.S. in 1979. I have family in the states that share the same last name, but would like to connect with others who share the same lastname. I am looking to find the background of our last name.

Looking for descendants of Daniel Canuto, born about 1848 in Italy, and his wife Catherine Lisetta Goebel, born about 1850 in Prussia. They immigrated to America before 1880. They had at least five children, Rudolph, Louie, Emilie, Lissette, and Margaret, at least a couple of which were born in Red Wing, Minnesota. Some or all of the family moved to Portland, Oregon around the turn of the century.

Hi,
My mother was Salvatrice Canuto, daughter of Angelo and Salvatrice, she had 3 brothers, Biagio, Guiseppe and I forget the eldest brother's name. She came to the states after marrying my dad (Salvatore Lombardo) in 1950. Does anyone know this family, I would love to connect with friends or relatives of hers.
