I have managed to trace my direct ancestry, with documentary evidence, back to a Harry Capp who lived in the St Pancras / Paddington area of Middlesex (now West London). I've estimated that he was born between approx 1786 and 1796, based on the year his son, also named Harry 1814-1851, was born. I also know he was a Carpenter by trade. The only trace of him I can find is on his son's marriage certificate from 1843, who was married at St John's Church in Paddington to an Olive Westwood. They had three son's: Harry 1843-1847, James 1846-1918 and Charles 1849 - ?

If anyone has any further information about this Harry Capp or the Capp Family from East Middlesex/West London, who ended up in Kensal Green until after WW2, I would really like to here from you. Happy to share anything I've got with anyone related.
