My great grandfather, last name Capparella (Could have well been Capparelli) landed on Ellis Island in NYC from Italy in the 1800's. They came over in a banana boat. I, also, am trying to find some connection. I am waiting on my Mom to find out what his first name was. I will certainly post if I find out anything more.
