YOUNGSTOWN – A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Kirila Funeral Home Inc. for Melvin H. Caraballo, 55, who died unexpectedly.
Melvin was born Aug. 22, 1958, in Youngstown, OH.
He is now reunited with his mother, Lydia Burgos; his father, Israel Caraballo; his brother, Elvis Caraballo; and his sister-in-law, Jill Caraballo.
He is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Amica Renee Caraballo and Natira Chandel Caraballo; two precious grandchildren, Maliyah Starr and Kimoni Cole; three devoted sisters, Arlene (Hector) Arroyo, Minerva (Will) Lightner and Myrna (Dave) DiLullo; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Melvin was proud of his service to our country in the U.S. Army for which he served for 17 years, with many accomplishments.
He will be remembered as a loving father, his vivid story-telling, his hearty laugh, but most of all,
for his great love for his family and friends.
He always left a smile on someone’s face, and he will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. at the Kirila Funeral Home Inc., 258 Poland Ave. in Struthers, Ohio.
