My father was your grandmother's younger brother Jimmy, making your mother & me first cousins. You & your parents came to my house when you were probably too small to remember, & your mother & I haven't kept in touch.

I can tell you quite a bit about your Haggerty ancestors. Where do you live? I'm near Philadelphia. Maybe we could get together so you can see the notes & photos I've accumulated.

I am the granddaughter of Jean Caraeff. I was wondering if you could maybe tell me some more information about how you and she were related as I am having a very difficult time with the ancestry of that part of my family.

Jean Haggerty Caraeff

I have a prayer book given to Jean Haggerty in 1944,3 years before she married, as well as some memorial cards with information about family members and a photo of Jean as a little girl and as a young woman.

My father was Jean's younger brother.I assume th missal was given to him after Jean died, and I'd like to return it to her children or grandchildren.
