Alvin Rufus Carawan was my grandfather. He was born January 21, 1877, and died in April 1968. I can't rember the exact date. I'll have to look it up a little later. Rufus married Lizzie Potter December 29, 1907. My father Maxwell M. (Mack) Carawan was the second child of this marriage.
