Philip Carcich passed away March 26, 2008
at the age of 90.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne;
daughter, Karen Wadnan of England;
grandchildren, Alexander and Sabrina Wadnan;
and many brothers-in-law,
sisters-in-law,
nieces and nephews.
Philip was a U.S. Army veteran of the 344th Engineer Regiment, who served from 1942 to 1951. He received the European African-Middle Eastern Service Medal with Arrowhead, Good Conduct Medal and a Silver Star. He was also a graduate of the Criminal Investigation Command (CID) school in Germany. Family and friends are invited to call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home, 26 Maple Ave., Victor. Friends are also invited to attend Philip's funeral service Monday at 11 a.m. at White Haven Memorial Park, All Seasons Chapel, 210 Marsh Road, Perinton. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Philip's memory may be made to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, P.O. Box 92297, Rochester, NY 14692; or New York State Sheriffs' Association, 27 Elk St., Albany, NY 12207.
