Australian Cardins
Looking for William Augustus Cardin, and wife, Amelia [Isabella Mortimer Salmon] Cardin; their son William Henry Borflower Cardin, drowned at 16 (1855) and is buried Brighton Cemetery, Victoria Austria. William Henry was probably born St. Kitts (St. Christopher)/West Indies.
I'm related to Richard Edward Cardin, born 1805 and whose eldest children were born in the West Indies and believe William Augustus might be a cousin (not nephew, as Richard only had a brother John and John's children are all accounted for); Richard Cardin's father was also Richard and was lawyer to Lord Romney and died on his estates on St. Kitts/Christopher in the early 1830's; I'm looking, I believe, for the elder Richard's brother's son/grandson as there are no "Williams" in my line.
