Help please with Amos Cardin

Hi! I'm trying to trace my Cardin line back
to where they originated from. Here is what I
have. My grandfather William "Bill" Cardin.
His parents were William Oliver Jack "Reece"
Cardin married Fannie Pollock.
Parents of William Oliver were Andrew C. Cardin
who married Roseanna Matilda Fortner.
Parents of Andrew C. Cardin were Amos Cardin
who married Margret A. Taylor. (You will also
find it as Margret N. Taylor in some census').
It seems to stop after Amos. He was born 1824-25.
The first census I can find on him is in 1850.
It has him born in Tennessee, however I cannot
find him in any of the census' there so far.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you,
Debra
