Thank you for your response. The Catherine Carew (nee Agar) that I am looking for is my great, great grandmother who came to Syracuse, NY via Liveerpool in 1847. Age 35, she came with 6 children ranging in age from 1 1/2 to 10 and settled in Syracuse, NY. She was accompanied by a Patrick Hurley (age 21) and in one list was Catherine Hurley with the children as Carew.

Beyond that I have hit a brick wall. The family story is that the family came from Waterford and Tramore.
