I am looking for information on Careys who migrated from the Carndonagh area, County Donegal, mid to late 19th Century. Known to have gone to Glasgow, Scotland; Barrow in Furness, England and possibly the United States.

My grandparents were Henry Carey (b1869) and Rebecca Clingan (b1869).
My great grandparents were Robert Carey (b.1836) and Elizabeth McKinley (b1842) married about 1867/8. I also require more information on Henry Carey, Robert's father born about 1810 and his wife Margaret McMonegal.

Robert Carey and family (4 sons) first appear in the 1891 Census in Glasgow.

Any information regarding these families would be useful.

Many thanks,
Anne
