Classification: Query
Surnames: CAREY, McINERNEY, FLYNN, McGRATH
Greetings from Australia.
I am researching the family of Martin CAREY b. c1830 and Bridget (aka Delia) McINERNEY. I know that for some time at least, they lived in Kilmihil, Co. Clare.
Children, Mary Jane c1854, Patrick b. 1857, Bridget b. 1858 Kilmihil, James b. c1860. Martin b. c1859. Kilmihil, Catherine b. 1864, Nora b. 1859, Margaret b.
c1872, Ellen b. c1874. All born in Co. Clare.
I am certain, some of the family migrated to Albany, New York and perhaps others to Pennsylvania (to be confirmed). Some of the girls married FLYNN family in Albany, New York.
Others migrated to Australia, including my ggrandmother, Bridget, age 19. She arrived in South Australia, married Michael McGRATH and they moved to Victoria.
Their children, Elsie, Daniel, John, Mary and Daisy.
Any information is greatly appreciated. Merle
