I am seeking information regarding Benjamin Carey (1783-1860), particularly the names of his parents. Benjamin died in West Milford, Passaic County, N.J. in May 1860 (Census Mortality Schedule). Census records indicate he was born around 1783 in New York. Secondary sources indicate that he was born in Dutchess Co., NY, but I cannot confirm it.
