did you every get a response from your post? My Great Grandfather had a sister named Mary Elizabeth Carlile who married a sargent she also signed on death cert of Missouri Duncan (Black), who was the mother of Mary Jane Carlile (Duncan) my Great Grandmother. Please let me know.
