Looking for info on the Carlile family. William born to Scottish parents married Mary Somerville (20 Jun 1835-8 Jun 1920). Children were May, Joseph, Fannie, Anna and Bessie.
Lived in Platteville WI. William on 8/6/1861 mustered in Company "C" 7th WI Infantry. Wounded 7/1/1863 at Gettysburg, captured at Battle of the Wilderness and became POW at Andersonville Prison.
