I am the Ggranddaughter of Will Carlton who lived around Blackwell, OK in1898. When my great-grandmother was due to give birth to my greatuncle James William, she took my grandmother, Martha age 4, and traveled to Short (close to Van Buren, AR), OK to be with her parents. When she returned, Will was gone, no one knew where he went! Never heard from him again!
