This Mabel Carnahan is also my great-grandmother! She was born in 1879, married to Evan Wallace, as you said, and Wilbur was one of their 7 children, and Blanche, born in 1882, was her younger sister. Their mother's name was Mary E. Carnahan, (don't know maiden name yet), born 1852. Mabel and Blanche also had a brother Ralph C., and one more sibling, but I don't have that name. Blanche married a Robert Thompson. My notes are in storage due to a recent move, so I don't recall all the names, but Wilbur had an older brother named John H. b. 9/16/02, who would be my grandfather, sister Olive b. 1900. I will send the names of the rest when I get unpacked. There are two more brothers and two more sisters. I guess that makes Wilbur my great-uncle, and we are some kind of second cousins??? :) I am living in Canton, Ohio right now and have been using the wonderful geneaology dept. at the library in downtown Canton.
