David Guy Carnahan, 90, McCauley Road, died 6 a.m. June 24 1988, in his home.
Mr. Carnahan was a retired foreman from Mt. Vernon Car Manufacturing Co.
Mr. Carnahan was born Sept. 25, 1897, in Jefferson Co,(IL), a son of James Robert and Barbara (Henry) Carnahan. July3, 1920, in Crown Point, Ind., he married Allie Cravens, who died Jan, 13, 1966.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens with Mike Sheets officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.(Jefferson Co, IL; between Mt. Vernon and Woodlawn on highway 15)
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hughey Funeral Home. Those attending services are asked to directly to the cemetery chapel Sunday.
Mr. Carnahan is survived by one daughter, two grandchildren, one great- granddaughter, one sister-in-law, one nephew, and three nieces.
Mr. Carnahan was a member of Central Christian Church.
Mr. Carnahan was preceded in death by his wife, parents and two brothers.
